Soccer Recap: Montgomery Central Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, Montgomery Central was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southwestern Randolph Cougars. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Montgomery Central couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Jaydence Eddins, who's now up to two this season.

Montgomery Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Montgomery Central will welcome North Moore at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southwestern Randolph, they will venture away from home to face off against Trinity at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
