Football Recap: Grundy County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Despite a strong season so far, Grundy County has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 27-26 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bledsoe County Warriors. Despite 60 more yards than the Warriors, the Yellowjackets couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Despite the loss, Grundy County still got an impressive performance from Vince Bryant, who rushed for 132 yards and two scores on only 15 carries. Bryant also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making 12 total tackles and defending one pass.

Luke Mor On looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 187 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 passes.

Grundy County's record now sits at 7-2. As for Bledsoe County, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Grundy County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jackson County at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th. As for Bledsoe County, they will take on Huntland at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
