St. Mary's Ryken had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Bishop McNamara on Friday. St. Mary's Ryken was the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over Bishop McNamara. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won seven in a row.

Ava Chadwick was incredible, firing off two home runs, four runs, and five RBI while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Carly Kendrick, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.
St. Mary's Ryken always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bishop McNamara only posted an OBP of .167.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 runs the game before, Bishop Ireton was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They came up short against St. John's, falling 9-1. The Cardinals have struggled against the Cadets recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meetings.
