Volleyball Recap: Morenci Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

If Bisbee wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Morenci, they should've done a better job of containing Jayliana Guzzo. The Wildcats walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Pumas on Tuesday for which the team can thank Guzzo, who had 13 digs and two assists. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

The win didn't come easy: Bisbee scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 23-25, 25-18, 25-19.

The victory made it two in a row for Morenci and bumps their season record up to 7-10. As for Bisbee, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Morenci will challenge rival Desert Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bisbee is set to face off against their familiar foe Benson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
