Softball Preview: Green Hope Falcons vs. Holly Springs Golden Hawks
Green Hope is 0-10 against Holly Springs since February of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. The Green Hope Falcons will welcome the Holly Springs Golden Hawks at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Green Hope is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past East Chapel Hill 23-1 on Tuesday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Rachael Baldyga was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI.

In other batting news, Ainsley Campbell was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and four runs. She is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Claire Phelps, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
