Volleyball Recap: Macomb Takes a Loss

Macomb was the 2-0 winner over Athens when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bombers fell 2-0 to the Warriors on Saturday.

Macomb's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Athens, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Macomb will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Brown County at 6:00 p.m. on the 11th. As for Athens, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Pleasant Plains on the 30th.
