Basketball Recap: Worth County Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Rylee Ruckman and Kristen Tracy

Worth County lost against Mound City/Craig back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Worth County Tigers came up short against Mound City/Craig, falling 58-33.

Kristen Tracy and Rylee Ruckman certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Tracy posted eight points and nine boards, while Ruckman put up 12 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Tracy has been hot recently, having posted nine or more boards the last three times she's played.

Even though they lost, Worth County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in five consecutive matchups.

Worth County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.

As of now, neither they nor Mound City/Craig have any future games scheduled.
