Wesley Chapel is 9-1 against Pasco since December of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Wesley Chapel Wildcats will venture away from home to take on the Pasco Pirates at 6:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Wesley Chapel is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Friday, they were much more limited against Cypress Creek on Monday. They came up short against the Coyotes , falling 4-0. The Wildcats have struggled against the Coyotes recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Pasco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to Land O' Lakes. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 361st, while the Gators are ranked 178th).

Wesley Chapel's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-2. As for Pasco, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-2.

Wesley Chapel took their victory against Pasco in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 7-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wesley Chapel since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
