Oakdale entered their tilt with Alexandria on Tuesday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Alexandria Trojans 61-29. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Alexandria's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kenya Russell, who posted four points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Tityana Jackson, who had six points and six rebounds.

Oakdale's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.7 points over those games. As for Alexandria, their loss dropped their record down to 20-6.

Oakdale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 86-28 win against Port Barre on the 7th. As for Alexandria, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-40 victory against Ruston on the 7th.
