Indian Rocks Christian takes loss despite strong efforts from Malia Stevens and Kayleigh Atkinson

Recap: Indian Rocks Christian Eagles vs. Seminole Warhawks

The Indian Rocks Christian Eagles lost against the Seminole Warhawks back in January of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Indian Rocks Christian fell 55-44 to Seminole. Indian Rocks Christian has not had much luck with Seminole recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Kayleigh Atkinson and Malia Stevens certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Atkinson scored 12 points, while Stevens scored 15 points.

Laney Pearson was her usual excellent self, scoring 19 points for Seminole. Pearson has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Molly Follett, who scored 12 points.

Indian Rocks Christian now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Seminole, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Indian Rocks Christian will take on Keswick Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keswick Christian is coming into the game hot, having won their last nine games. As for Seminole, they will be playing at home against Tarpon Springs at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Tarpon Springs is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
