Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Connell). They blew past the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna Broncos 25-10 on Friday. Considering the Eagles have won five contests by more than ten runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Connell has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coming up, Connell will take on Cashmere at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna, they will square off against Liberty at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Broncos' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lancers have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season.
