Basketball Recap: Bertha-Hewitt Takes a Loss

Bertha-Hewitt was the 85-83 winner over Underwood when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bertha-Hewitt Bears were dealt an 86-57 defeat at the hands of the Underwood Rockets on Monday. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bertha-Hewitt's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Underwood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-10.

Bertha-Hewitt didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-59 defeat against Upsala on the 11th. As for Underwood, they have also already played their next game, an 88-51 victory against Battle Lake on the 11th.
