Basketball Recap: New Brunswick Comes Up Short

New Brunswick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Edison Eagles, falling 60-34. The Zebra were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

New Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Edison, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Brunswick will challenge J.P. Stevens on Monday. As for Edison, they will host Timothy Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
