Softball Recap: Manasquan Warriors vs. Wall Township Crimson Knights
Manasquan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wall Township Crimson Knights. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly four runs.
Manasquan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Wall Township, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Coming up, Manasquan will venture away from home to square off against Pinelands Regional at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wall Township, they will take on Toms River North at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Mariners have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.85 runs per game on average), something the Crimson Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of.
