Oscar Lomeli Game Report: vs Sam Rayburn

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Oscar Lomeli: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also made four total tackles (1.0 for loss), but sadly Alvin still had to take a 16-7 loss at the hands of Sam Rayburn. We hope Lomeli's good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Lomeli and Alvin will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Manvel at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. The Yellowjackets will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 364 places lower in Texas), but they're not letting that get them down.
