Baseball Recap: Canyon Comanches vs. Villa Park Spartans
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Canyon). They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Villa Park Spartans 9-8. The Comanches have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans on Thursday, too.
Kemuel Zhang looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off three hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Player #5, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI. Blake Semanie also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
