Baseball Recap: East Providence Comes Up Short

East Providence was the 6-2 winner over Lincoln when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Townies fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The Townies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Providence's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 3-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. East Providence is set to challenge their familiar foe Moses Brown at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Lincoln will face off against rival Pilgrim at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
