Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Eden Christian Academy walked away with it. They blew past the Homer-Center Wildcats 16-6 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Eden Christian Academy, who have now won 13 games by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Brady Hull, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Tilden, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double.

Eden Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Homer-Center, they moved to 20-6 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
