St. Joseph Academy won the last time they faced Palatka and things went their way on Friday too. The St. Joseph Academy Flashes blew past the Palatka Panthers 7-0. The result was nothing new for the Flashes, who have now won eight contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Palatka from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Elissa Vilorio led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

St. Joseph Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. As for Palatka, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-5.

After both having extra time off, St. Joseph Academy and St. Augustine will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 5:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. As for Palatka, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Palatka face off against the Baker County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
