Basketball Recap: Olive Comes Up Short

Olive was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Davenport Bulldogs and fell 59-31. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-25 back in December of 2024.

Olive's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Davenport, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Olive will face off against Graham/Dustin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Davenport, they will take on Hominy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
