Basketball Recap: Lesterville Takes a Loss

Lesterville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 55-32 to the Bismarck Indians. The Bearcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-10.

Ashley Hawkins continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Bismarck, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. Hawkins' evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Halie Dickey was another key player, putting up seven points and three steals.

Lesterville's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Bismarck, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-7.

Lesterville will welcome Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bismarck, they will head out on the road to challenge Crystal City at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
