Softball Recap: Jefferson Sets Scoring Season-High Against Rockford East

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson). They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Rockford East E-Rabs on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-0 on May 2nd.

Jefferson is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Rockford East, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with the loss, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Jefferson nor the E-Rabs have any future games scheduled.
