Baseball Recap: Glenpool Comes Up Short

Glenpool lost to Collinsville two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 12-11.

Peyton Surrett led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Glenpool's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 2-22 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Raedyn Holland, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with two runs and two RBI.

Glenpool's defeat dropped their record down to 4-23. As for Collinsville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 21-12.

As of now, neither Glenpool nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
