Basketball Recap: Sperry Piles Up the Points Against Olive

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Perkins-Tryon, Sperry was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They breezed by the Olive Wildcats to the tune of 65-15. The game marked the Pirates' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Sperry moved to 5-7 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Olive, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Sperry has already played their next contest, a 40-31 victory against Davenport on the 24th. As for Olive, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-29 loss against Wesleyan Christian on the 24th.
