Meanwhile, Legacy Academy suffered their closest defeat since December 6, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of Cottonwood Classical Prep by a score of 42-39. Silverbacks fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Coyotes since Thursday.

Legacy Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Dora, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
