Basketball Game Preview: Palm Harbor University Hurricanes vs. Pinellas Park Patriots + How To Watch

Palm Harbor University is 9-1 against Pinellas Park since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Hurricanes will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Patriots at 8:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Palm Harbor University fought the good fight in their overtime contest against River Ridge last Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Royal Knights by a score of 70-67. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Palm Harbor University got top-tier performance from Grahm Pitcock, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 14 rebounds. Pitcock has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 46% every time he's hit the court this season. Zaiden Roberts was another key player, putting up 14 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 78-51, which was the final score in Pinellas Park's tilt against Osceola on Monday. The Patriots have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Palm Harbor University now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pinellas Park, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
