Soccer Recap: Pittsfield Takes a Loss

The Pittsfield Panthers came up short against the Monadnock Huskies on Monday and fell 4-2.

Pittsfield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Monadnock, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6-3.

Pittsfield and Monadnock could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps New Hampshire Rankings. The Panthers (ranked 80th) will meet Newmarket (ranked fourth) at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Monadnock will challenge Wilton-Lyndeborough at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank disadvantage (70 vs. 19).
