Softball Recap: Central Lyon Comes Up Short

Central Lyon fell victim to Unity Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Knights. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Lions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Central Lyon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Unity Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Central Lyon will look to defend their home field on Monday against Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union at 7:00 p.m. The Royals will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. As for Unity Christian, they will venture away from home to face off against West Lyon at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 1.2 runs per game this season, so the Knights' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
