Volleyball Recap: Richards School for Young Women Leaders Takes a Loss

Richards School for Young Women Leaders was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Ingram Moore Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Richards School for Young Women Leaders of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Richards School for Young Women Leaders' loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Ingram Moore, they pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richards School for Young Women Leaders will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bastrop at 7:00 p.m. on September 9. As for Ingram Moore, they will venture away from home to take on Bandera at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
