Pershing County had already won 13 in a row dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 43.8 points) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 60-0 win over the Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Pershing County's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Coral Academy of Science - Reno, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pershing County will venture away from home to face off against Needles at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Coral Academy of Science - Reno, they will head out to square off against Non Varsity Opponent at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
