Baseball Recap: Gilman City Takes a Loss

Gilman City lost against North Platte back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hawks took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gilman City's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Platte, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gilman City will head out to face off against Gallatin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Platte, they will venture away from home to take on East Buchanan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
