Wood County Christian has gone a perfect 5-0 against Morgantown Christian Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Wood County Christian Wildcat will head out on the road to square off against the Morgantown Christian Academy Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Wood County Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Friday, Wood County Christian ended up a good deal behind Valley and lost 73-57. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Wildcat came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 108th, while the Lumberjacks are ranked 626th).

Morgantown Christian Academy has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 70-60 to Parkersburg Christian on Friday. While the Mustangs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Parkersburg Christian 20-14 in the first quarter.

Wood County Christian will have to contain Collin Lemley as he made an impact in Morgantown Christian Academy's last game. He dropped a double-double with 17 points and 12 boards. Lemley continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyce Day, who posted nine points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

Even though they lost, Morgantown Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Wood County Christian's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-9. As for Morgantown Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.

Everything came up roses for Wood County Christian against Morgantown Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2018, as the team secured a 73-31 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wood County Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
