Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bridge City). They blew past the Jasper Bulldogs, posting a 76-38 victory. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 405th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 1189th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bridge City has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 22-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.9 points per game. As for Jasper, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.

Coincidentally, Bridge City and Jasper will both be playing Little Cypress-Mauriceville the next time they take the court. Jasper will host Little Cypress-Mauriceville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Bridge City will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th.
