Volleyball Recap: Washington Union Takes a Loss

Washington Union was the 3-1 winner over Fowler when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redcats on Wednesday.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Fowler scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20.

Washington Union's loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Fowler, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Fowler has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Liberty on the 20th. Hopefully Washington Union paid attention to the Redcats' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Redcats at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
