Norton entered their tilt with Coventry on Thursday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They breezed by the Coventry Comets to the tune of 61-28. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 208th, while the Comets are ranked 601st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Norton has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.5 points per game. As for Coventry, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norton will take on Jackson at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Jackson will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Norton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Coventry, they will square off against Cloverleaf at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
