Basketball Recap: Philip Steinert's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Los Amigos over King

Los Amigos suffered their closest loss since January 24, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the King Wolves by a score of 49-46. The Lobos were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolves earlier this season, when they won 52-38.

Los Amigos lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Philip Steinert, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Gerald Loadholt, who had seven points and five rebounds.

Los Amigos' defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for King, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-11.

Los Amigos didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 44-43 loss against Calvary Baptist on the 30th. As for King, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 57-51 victory against Marquez on the 30th.
