Football Game Preview: Baker County Wildcats vs. Suwannee Bulldogs + Official Tickets

The Baker County Wildcats will take on the Suwannee Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Suwannee took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Baker County, who comes in off a win.

Baker County will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 13 points last Friday, then bounced right back against Halifax Academy on Friday. The Wildcats claimed a resounding 49-6 win over the Knights. That looming 49-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wildcats yet this season.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Suwannee after they claimed the first score last Friday, but it was Wakulla who ended up claiming the real prize. The Bulldogs took a 30-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of the War Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the War Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Baker County's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4. As for Suwannee, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Baker County was able to grind out a solid win over Suwannee in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 27-17. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
