Basketball Recap: Mt. Bethel Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Mt. Bethel Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 66-38 defeat at the hands of the North Cobb Christian Eagles.

Mt. Bethel Christian Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-10. As for North Cobb Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Bethel Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against Wesleyan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Cobb Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Ringgold at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Cobb Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Ringgold likes a good challenge.
