Baseball Recap: Times Squared Academy Takes a Loss

Times Squared Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Davies Career & Tech Patriots, falling 17-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on Thursday.

Times Squared Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dominik Him, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Times Squared Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Davies Career & Tech, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Times Squared Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Juanita Sanchez Complex at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Davies Career & Tech will face off against rival Blackstone Valley Prep at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
