Volleyball Recap: Key West Conchs vs. Suncoast Chargers
Key West was the 2-0 winner over Suncoast when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Conchs fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 2-1 on Friday. While the Conchs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Chargers 25-17 in the first set.
Key West started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-12, 15-8.
Audrey Smith paced Key West's offense, picking up seven kills. Smith got some help from Molly McKnight and her 14 assists. Finally, Smith was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high six blocks.
