Softball Recap: Coleman Takes a Loss

Coleman and Sacred Heart Academy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Coleman had to settle for second. They came up short against the Irish, falling 11-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Comets in their meetings with the Irish: they've now lost eight in a row.

Coleman saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabelle Lewis, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

Coleman now has a losing record of 18-19. As for Sacred Heart Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 23-5.

Coleman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sacred Heart Academy, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-11 loss against Beal City on the 30th.
