Football Recap: Pueblo County Hornets vs. Pueblo Central Wildcats
After flying high against Sierra last Friday, Pueblo County came back down to earth. The Pueblo County Hornets took a blow against the Pueblo Central Wildcats on Friday, falling 51-0. The shutout was out of character for the Hornets seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.
Genaro Pino continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Pueblo Central, rushing for 86 yards and a touchdown.
Pueblo County's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Pueblo Central, their record now sits at 6-2.
Pueblo County will head out to take on Canon City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pueblo Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 48-14 victory against Sierra on the 31st.
