Baseball Recap: Chatham Central Takes a Loss

Chatham Central managed to slip by Eastern Randolph the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Chatham Central came up short against Eastern Randolph on Monday, falling 16-2. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

Chatham Central saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zane Overman, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

This is the second loss in a row for Chatham Central and nudges their season record down to 3-6. As for Eastern Randolph, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-3 record.

Coincidentally, Chatham Central and Eastern Randolph will both be playing Seaforth the next time they take the field. Chatham Central will head out to face Seaforth at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Eastern Randolph will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
