Baseball Recap: North Forrest Comes Up Short

North Forrest suffered their biggest loss since March 8th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Mize Bulldogs, falling 23-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Forrest saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Hayes, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

North Forrest's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 12-6. As for Mize, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

While North Forrest had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
