Volleyball Recap: Palmyra Panthers vs. Milford Eagles

Palmyra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Milford Eagles. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-16.

Dannica Hose paced Palmyra's offense, picking up six kills. Hose got some help from Audrey Erhart and her 13 assists.

Palmyra's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Milford, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Coincidentally, Palmyra and Milford will both be playing Ashland-Greenwood the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Bluejays at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
