Basketball Recap: Power Center Academy Triumphs

After losing to Bolton the last time they met, Power Center Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Knights came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 81-73 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Bolton's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rahsad MacLin, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 11 boards. MacLin is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last six games he's played dating back to last season. Anthony Suggs was another key player, shooting 50% from the field to rack up 20 points and six boards.

Power Center Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bolton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Power Center Academy will square off against Melrose at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bolton, they will take on Hillcrest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
