Softball Recap: Tri-Valley Find Success

Tri-Valley made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Argenta-Oreana, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Tri-Valley never let Argenta-Oreana get on the board and left with a 13-0 win on Saturday. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Not much got past Gretchen Wyant, who gave up just five hits to keep Argenta-Oreana off the board.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Zoey Whittaker, who fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-3. Maren Milton was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.

Tri-Valley's victory bumped their record up to 2-0-1. As for Argenta-Oreana, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-Valley will take on Williamsville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Argenta-Oreana, they will challenge Monticello at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
