Softball Recap: Wisconsin Dells Comes Up Short

Wisconsin Dells had lost three straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped down to 8-16 to make it four. They lost 13-3 to the Reedsburg Beavers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Beavers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-9 back in March.

As for Reedsburg, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-17 record. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for their hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

For Reedsburg's part, Lucy Klemp was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three hits gave Klemp a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Rhianna Schommer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

As of now, neither Wisconsin Dells nor Reedsburg have any future games scheduled.
