Volleyball Recap: Stratton Wins Going Away Against Eads

Stratton barely beat Eads the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Stratton put the hurt on Eads with a sharp 3-0 victory on Friday. Stratton hasn't had any issues with Eads recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

While Stratton might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Eads scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 27-25.

Sophie Isenbart paced Stratton's offense, picking up 16 kills. Isenbart got some help from Camory Wedel and her 14 assists. Finally, Isenbart was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Stratton's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Eads, their defeat ended a seven-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6.

Coming up, Stratton will head out to face off against Burlington at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eads, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kit Carson at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
