Volleyball Recap: Pius X Takes a Loss

Pius X was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Norris Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Saturday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-21.

Pius X's offense was headlined by Hayden Harnisch and McKenzie Becker, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Lauren Pearson and her ten assists.

Pius X's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Norris, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 25-0.

Pius X has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Lincoln Northeast on the 30th. As for Norris, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Gretna on the 30th.
